When we say “We”, we not only mean BTC Co., EIP in-country team and its
external specialists but also the grantees, whom we call as our
“implementing partners”. Our implementing partners are fully committed
by enthusiasm to the protection and enhancement of biodiversity and
work on a non-profit basis. EIP & CIP - Turkey is a potential
benchmark in terms of the relationship between BTC Co. and the
implementing partners. It is a strong partnership compared to a
conventional donor-grantee relationship. BTC Co. EIP Turkey team is
actively involved in the capacity building of the implementing partner
and is assisting project management in various ways (Health and safety
training, workshops on risk assessment, project management, financial
management; harmonisation workshops, face-to-face joint monitoring and
evaluation practices, etc.). The professional project management
principles are also strong, for the purpose of successful completion of
projects and achievement of overall programme objectives.
