A local agricultural purchaser, Doğan Organic Products Ltd., has
signed a contract with farmers in project villages in Erzurum, for the
production of organic hay and feed. The Implementing Partner, Ataturk
University, will provide technical support to farmers, as well as meet
control/certification costs. Similar approaches are being made to other buyers
in order to tap the high potential of organic production in the area.
