put in place a Community Investment Programme (CIP) along the BTC
Pipeline route. The aim of the CIP is to provide additional,
long-term benefits for communities adjacent to the pipeline route in
all three countries that go beyond the mitigation of negative
impacts. |

BTC Co. has
developed Environmental Investment Programmes for Azerbaijan,
Georgia and Turkey, to go beyond reduction of ecological impacts of
the BTC Pipeline and bring additional benefits by supporting
projects involving the promotion and conservation of
biodiversity. |
